OUR HISTORY

Jodima is an independent Belgian company founded in 1979. Initially targeting the import and trade of automotive accessories, the company has quickly specialized into the production and packaging of chemical fluids for the automotive market.

 

In 1996 Jodima completed the construction of the first 6000m² building with integrated automatic filling lines. From that moment on, Jodima became an established major player in coolant and screenwash liquids in the Benelux.

 

In 2004, the 2nd part of the building, the size of 4000m² is taken into use. This section is equipped with the most modern facilities automatized for filling, palletizing and stocking different products.

 

From 2010, the company has experienced a significant evolution in terms of capacity, production equipment, blending and informatics (ERP Integration). The company also obtained the ISO 9001-2008 certificate.

 

Jodima is one of the most modern and efficient companies of Western Europe in terms of production of chemical liquids, for both purification and functional fluids. Jodima’s own brand, Prisma, is the market leader in Belgium and is well recognized in the professional and retail market for its excellent quality.

For several years, the company has also expanded into new products used in construction and agriculture. The company strategy focuses on production for many well-known international brands and major distributors under private label.

Jodima also owns a separate accessory division for automotive and distributes with more than 2,000 products from high quality brands such as Castrol, Armor All, Facom, WRC, Michelin, Philips, Air Wick, STP, Varta and Stanley. Together with the locally produced items, this represents a total solution for One Stop Shopping concept for retail and wholesale professional.
